The main field of my research interests is culture as a sphere of values. I often undertake empirical studies of culture in order to answer the question whether it is possible to study the sphere of values with the help of the applied research methods and what cognitive results can be obtained in this respect. For this reason, my scientific achievements may seem heterogeneous (research on homeless people and the literary legend of Stanisław Przybyszewski). From this perspective, my significant achievement is the creation (with the participation of programmer MichałOrlik) of the Socjolog 2.0 computer program used to study narrative texts in order to reconstruct structures and systems of values.
